Day off work
Wednesday, friend!
It means I can come home from my German class and happily fall asleep. Or I can forget about my General education meeting and go have dinner with my roommate Lucy, talking about nothing. Or I can go play piano in the Downing hall - just the look of that elegant polished Yamaha makes me inspired. Or I can go and listen to the beat of the EMU's heart - Pray-Harrold building, with coffee from "Flying Eagle cafe" in one hand and an inkpen in another.
Though today I ended up waking around campus, breathing fresh spring-like air, and taking photos. Did i tell you that I love founding cosy corners in unfamiliar buildings and weird honest sculptures under the Eastern's sky? My favourite is a "diver" next to the Warner building and REC/IM. I pass by it everyday. It is an incredibly slender young body that is streched in a head down jump in the water, like one tense exaggerated line. The sculpture is not that realistic-looking, but it gives you the exact feeling what it's like to dive. I never get bored looking at it.

Today it feels good - because of staying up all night long writing some essay and not being tired after. Because of the finished portrait that really turned out good. Because they gave away hot cocoa in the cafeteria, and there was nowhere to rush while drinking it. Because I suddenly found my favourite old CD and understood that it really is my favourite...
Because it's Wednesday, and it's my day off.
